Environment policy

Prevent-TRO, d.o.o. is a company with a long tradition in the production of wood-work tools, industrial cutting implements and carbides.

In our endeavour to manage a successful business, we do not forget to protect the natural environment, which is a fundamental condition for healthy and sustainable development of humankind.

This Ecological policy sets the following environmental objectives for the company:

• integrate environmental protection in our development strategy and annual business plan to reduce the negative impacts on the environment in the long run and improve the status of environmental safety in our company and its surroundings,
• support sustainable monitoring and company practices with statutory and other stipulations and improve the environmental safety system according to the international Standard ISO 14001,
• buy environmentally friendly raw materials and other materials,
• achieve an optimum utilization in consumption and processing of raw materials and other materials and reduce wastes and residues,
• aim at a rational consumption of energy produces and reduce waste,
• motivate employees and sensitise them about the work environment and the larger surroundings,
• create awareness about our ecological policy among all those who are employed with us and insist that they follow ecological stipulations and requirements,
• inform employees and public about the results of our environmental economics.

All employees are obligated to achieve these goals. Being a broad-minded company, PREVENT-TRO d.o.o. appreciates opinions and suggestions of interested people and employees and will try to realise them according to the means, know-how and experience at hand.
